Almost finished with The Friend by Sigrid Nunez, and while the story isn't "strictly" about the literary and academic world the FMC belongs to, I do enjoy the parts where she speaks of it and the elements she's surrounded by of it. I've also read The Plot which is a more satirical take on literary writers and writers in general by how it delves into ownership of an idea and a story, which I also hugely enjoyed. So I'm getting in the mood for either or something in the middle where the setting and elements are those of that sort of publishing, academic literary type environment
