i impulsively bought all of Ava Reid’s books, along with Allison Saft’s and i’m just loving it. These authors became my favourite, and i wondered if there was other authors out here with the same story style? usually it’s about a FL who feels unlovable, kinda rejected by others because of something, it made her a bit cold hearted and skeptical of others. the ML is most of the time a mess, and we love whiny men here. sometimes there is either a religious or ethnic conflict between them, or one of them is having an identity crisis, it’s really well done. + the authors just know how to write enemies to lovers, the reluctance, the doubt, the tension; everything is provided perfectly.
loved a study in drowning, but i even more enjoyed The wolf and the woodsman, Juniper and thorn, A far wilder magic and a fragile enchantment. so please bless me with more recs like these.
