Hi, I mostly read adult books but feel like I need a break from it.
Can be any genre that's not realistic fiction, I normally like something that's not full genre fantasy but has fantastical elements if that makes sense!
Looking for a book with minimal romance and absolutely no love triangles. Also looking for something with moral complexity.
Some of my favorite books are Piranesi, The Night Circus, Deathless, Circe, and Neverwhere.

Drew Hayes – Super Powereds….. Kids in college with super powers
Also Drew Hayes – Fred the Vampire Accountant……
Supernatural accountant makes supernatural friends and does “clean” accounting for the supernatural folks
Hmmm. When the Angels Left the Old Country won several awards and was a terrific read (well, listen.) I also really love Justina Ireland. Her YA books are reimaginings of historic events through a fantasy lens. Try Rust in the Root.
Snow and Rose by Emily Winfield Martin
*Liberty’s Daughter* by Naomi Kritzer. Currently a Finalist for the Lodestar Award for Best Young Adult Book. It takes place on a libertarian flotilla out in international waters. Lots of moral complexity. Very minimal romance. No Fantasy elements. Minor Science Fictional ones. (Kritzer is best known for her near-future SF. She has several wonderful shorter fiction pieces. You also might want to check out *Catfishing on Catnet* and *Chaos on Catnet*, though those have a f/f romance subplot.)
