Books for a 20yo F who has never had an interest in reading? (+Anne Of Green Gables)

Pretty much as the title says. I'm 20 F and have never had an interest in reading. When I was younger I read a lot of David Walliams books and at around 17/18 I read The Great Gatsby, A Thousand Ships and a couple more but that was for my English Literature class.

I'm a big fan of Anne with an E (the Netflix series) and so have got my sights set on reading Jane Eyre. But I'm looking for some more recommendations.
I also want to ask if it would be strange for me to read the Anne Of Green Gables series?

My older sister told me that it was a kids book but I feel like I've missed out on reading a lot of books but also dont want to be judged for reading what she said was a kids book at 20.
