Hey all!
So, the thing is I've recently finished Ministry for Future (an excellent book) and one thing that keeps echoing in my head is the discussion of refugee rights across the book, the reference to Nansen passport and global citizenship and such. I was interested in this even before and now my interest got amplified.
So here I am. I'd love to ask for some recommendations regarding (pop)-scientific literature on the status of refugees. It can be historical, discussing maybe the Nansen passport solution during WW1 or such. Or it could be kinda investigative, maybe a summary of reports on the behaviour of European border guards and their transgressions of international law (that's where I live so I'm particularly interested about that). Also, since I do philosophy, I'd definitely appreciate a more contemplative work about one's rights to movement and asylum and such.
I hope it makes sense and thanks a lot!
