I'm currently reading 'a short history of England' and am finding it pretty fascinating with all these different rulers fighting for power
It reminds me of Game of Thrones in fact
I love seeing how things change over long time periods and seeing different rulers rise and fall.
I now have a hunger for more books like this… from any part of the world or time period!
