Hello.
The past few days I was reading a queer book I bought second hand, Arthur and Teddy are Coming OUt, and it just felt really good to read a book where the characters had similar experiences to me (I am a bi agender person who lived as an openly bi cis man for a few years). I have also been interested in finally making the jump into Fantasy again, after taking a break for a few years, and decided I would like to read a fantasy book about people like me.
The two I guess biggest factors in my life are that I'm nonbinary adn that I'm physically disabled/chronically ill, and was just interested in if there were books about characters like me within the genre? The last fantasy books I read and really liked were the Most van Lipwig and Witches series of Discworld books, but I also really liked Magic for Liars outside of the teacher/student romance plot.
All suggestions within these criteria are welcome, though I would prefer books around 400 pages or less.
