I'm trying to get back into reading more books, past while I've been purely into fanfiction but I'm starting to have a hard time finding what I want and be written well so I thought I'd come here for some recs!
As for what I'm looking for I was thinking
- villain/hero romance or enemies to lovers
- looooots of banter
- I would like some spice, preferably stuff involving kink
- I really like fantasy, Sci fi, not really looking for contemporary in this one
- Open to non-human love interest but not a must
- if there is any (I know we have a lack of represents in media sometimes) would also love any recs that have queer rep, mlm, wlw, poly, trans etc

I just recommended this to someone else earlier, so it immediately popped into my head: Peter Darling by Austin Chant.
It’s a queer reimagining of Peter Pan where he and Hook fall in love.
It checks a few of these boxes (villian/hero, banter, fantasy, mlm and trans rep) and it’s quite short, which might help if you’re in a slump!
