My mother is an elderly lady and mostly spends her time sitting in front of the TV watching reruns. Recently my sister lent her a Melody Carlson book and she quite enjoyed it and so I would like to hear some suggestions for similar authors because the local library doesn't have a lot.
Mum is a Christian and she doesn't like swearing or sex in her media, so nothing graphic or gory. She also likes murder mysteries too, but please, no sex or excessive gore.
