Anything similar to Animal Farm or 1984? I love political allegories and I long for more.
I already have Brave New World on my TBR. I expect that to live up to its reputation, but I know that will not satisfy my desire entirely. I need more.

Age of Reason by Thomas Paine. Public domain book, by a shamefully forgotten Founding Father of the United States. It was the most controversial book in history for 60 years – from the time it was first published until Darwin’s Origin of the Species. In it, Paine explains why he believes in a higher power, but never in “priestcraft”, excellently explaining why organized religion is horseshit.
