I recall reading this book in school, and i think it kindled my broader interest in pre-history and paleoanthropology.
I do love the factual stuff and have read quite a few books on prehistory and early human, but i am keen to see if others can recommend more fiction type books that are of that vein and maybe similar to The inheritors by William Golding
