I've noticed that this is a trend lately.
Some people even rate books before they are published. What's the reasoning behind this?
That way the rating of the book is completely random.
For example, people are crazy about Lynn Painter for some reason. My personal opinion is that her only good book is BTTM.
Lynn Painter released a sequel to BTTM, and people started giving it 5 stars, because "they knew they'll love it."
How is this subjective? It's actually not even objective, because you can't have an opinion on smth you don't even know.
I just want to rant because that feels unfair.

the only rating of a book that matters is your own
