Hi fellow book-lovers,
I’m a huge fan of books, but absolutely cannot get into much of anything. Looking back the kind of read that kept me hooked were ‘A Gentleman in Moscow’, ‘Rules of Civility’ (Amor Towles) books about The Troubles in Northern Ireland, both non fiction like Ken Wharton’s accounts and Fiction like ‘Milkman’ and ‘Trespasses’ (Louise Kennedy). I also like Taylor Jenkins Reid and Jodi Picoult.
Thank you!

You might like the Neapolitan series by Elena Ferrante (first book is My Brilliant Friend) if you’ve enjoyed Trespasses and books about the troubles. It’s about two girls growing up in corrupt postwar Italy and the series follows them throughout their entire lives.
