I like to switch between fiction and nonfiction. The problem I have a lot is most nonfiction is written to be research like and to the point, until I encountered Devil in the White City. The flow of the book is excellent and doesn’t even really feel like its not a novel. I have tried his other works and they are alright, but haven’t caught me like Devil did.
What are some other nonfiction authors that write in a nice flowing manner that doesn’t just feel like a research article?

‘Endurance’ by Alfred Lansing. True story about an explorer and his crew in Antarctica. Absolutely fantastic!
