Okay so for context I’ve been reading a manwha (manwha means korean term for comic basically) and it’s about two characters forced by this haunted house to stay in close proximity to each other, the romance is slow and gradual as they both lose their sanity to the house, trying to escape. (It’s called 공포게임 남주와 감금당했다 , or I was imprisoned with the male lead of a horror game.) and I absolutely loved it.
So I’m looking for a horror romance OR a dark romance with forced proximity, however I don’t want it to be a regular abuser x victim story which I’ve seen is popular within dark romance genres, I don’t mind if their both victims of the situation their forced in though. I’m hoping for something like they both characters start the same mentality wise, like if ones a bad person so is the other or good person x good person. I don’t care if they become bad in the future.
Any added on genres to horror romance (such as comedy, fantasy, historical, modern, mystery etc.) work as well I don’t mind as long as it’s fictional!
TL;DR: Looking for horror romance, no victim and abuser romance (unless they are both victims of the situation they’re forced into). Preferably if there’s forced confinement and/or proximity (THEY BOTH HAVE TO BE CONFINED AND/OR IN PROXIMITY)
