Why are people so threatened by ideas that don't match their narrow world views?
Here's a new idea. If you don't agree with the subject matter DON'T READ IT!
But don't force your views on anyone else.

Edit: I just saw the list of banned books and are you fucking serious, out of all authors in the world, why is Sarah J Maas banned? I’m dead serious, can someone give me an answer?
This is a clickbait title. They aren’t banning books, they won’t be stocked in public school libraries IF the bill passes, which it hasn’t yet.
Tons of trash legislation gets voted on. Utah is a great state. Let’s hope the people there do the right thing and tell their legislators we need more books in public schools not less.
