Suggest a novel where the main character lives with someone who hurts him badly psychologically.

As I mentioned in the title, I want a novel about a person who is forced to live with someone who tarnishes his reputation, bullies him, manipulates him, insults him, curses him, and practices all means of abuse on him. All types of novels are okay except for romance.
