I’m looking for authors writing in a specific genre for a possible upcoming study of mine, called nightmarism (coined by AP Thayer). It merges speculative fiction, magical realism, and horror. The impact of the story comes from the story’s darkness and plausibility.
I’m focusing on works by authors either living in or from the UK and Scandinavia, but if you’ve got books from elsewhere, go for it!
