Goodreads should allow you to give two ratings for each book: The first rating right after you finish reading it, and the second rating after you’ve had time to think about it a bit and no longer feel guilty about giving it the number of stars it actually deserves.

A friend just asked what my top books of the year were, so I went to Goodreads and sorted by star rating, and was shocked to find so many books I didn't enjoy that I apparently gave four stars to. Books that I would honestly give two stars or three stars to if I rated them now. And I know I can change my ratings after the fact, but that's not the point 😂
