I read this book years ago as a teen and I can't remember the title or author but the book was about a chinese girl who becomes a club dj at a hiphop club in NYC? I know this is pretty niche and a bit of a long stretch, but does anyone happen to know what book it is? I would love to read it again. I have scoured google for the book using keywords but nothing comes up. I do remember the art book being emerald and black if I recall correctly, and there was like a hedkandi type art style on the cover of a asian dj caricature?? I am certain the book exists and isnt a fever dream, it could be based on a real story but i'm uncertain. Thanks!
