Recs for Fantasy romance/ historical fiction involving gladiators

I’m looking for a really good fantasy romance/ historical fiction involving gladiators… help a picky girl out?

So my only requirements are that:

1. The female mc is not childish or irrational, I’ve put down far too many historical fiction and fantasy romances due to the curse of the idiotic heroine that seems to follow the genre
2. The male mc isn’t an asshole/ actually treats the heroine with a modicum of respect.
3. No Y/A suggestions (nothing against the genre)
