Edit: any recommendations preferably with a good audiobook version because that's how I will be reading it
So after you get through Susan Wise Bauer's intense trilogy of books starting with "The History of the Ancient World" you're probably going to wonder what happens next?
Well I'm looking for a book that takes us past the Renaissance and maybe into the modern age. Maybe a general world history book that goes past that period? I already have my eye on 1776 and The People's History of the United States as an American so I'll probably get to those at some point. But are there any more general world history knowledge books that continue past the 1400's?
