I'm 36(m). I'd say I'm fairly successful, had my ups and downs but generally I have solid friendships, I'm well educated, a good job, financially am doing decently, etc… but yeah, my confidence is a little shot recently. I got out of a very bad relationship last year, then started focusing on myself, and that has been great.

But of course, well for me, I missed having someone close I could speak to/dream with/plan with by way of a partner. I've recently met someone (32(f)) and she is something else. She intimidates the hell out of me (in a good way) with how pretty, successful, emotionally mature, honest, driven etc. she is, and I'm on my toes properly! I'm boxing upwards hard here. Aussie breakdancer v Letsile Tebogo here (screw Noah Lyles) type stuff haha.

Anyway, I work remotely and a while ago I had planned a month away in the bush (I live in Southern Africa) where I'll be remotely working from a game farm, focusing on getting fit, working on me, my work etc. But I really want to also spend the time getting my confidence and mindset right, to be able to be a better person generally. I'd like to come back just better. She always says one of her philosophies is, "If you can be better, why not be?" and yeah, I can't disagree.

So I'm looking for advice on books to just get into tip-top headspace shape. Any suggestions for someone trying to level up themselves, not in any particular field, but just generally within themselves, to become better versions of themselves? Thanks!
