I just bought the first book of the Murderbot Diaries only to discover it’s only 150 pages. I am disappoint, so please help me.
I am looking for sci-fi, horror, mystery/thriller, or fantasy that are nice thick slabs o’ tree. I’m looking for something with a fun or funny tone. Best example: Dungeon Crawler Carl. Not a perfect series but fast paced and full of humor/cleverness/jokes. Also seven books in the series, with each book getting progressively thicker. (I read them in about a week.)
So if you know any hidden genre gems that fit this description, please drop them here!
**(Please no romance or romantasy. Dramedy is fine. And yes, I’ve read every Pratchett and Douglas already.)**
