Fairy tale adult winter books?

I know i know it’s way too early but I am already so in the mood for fall and winter.

So I really like books which include fantasy, magic, fairy tale adjacent themes, but are not overly YA or problematic romance. I like a little romance, but not anything with CoHo vibes, if that makes sense. I also really dislike annoying protagonists, who are supposed to be likeable but really arent. I love some extensive character work/arcs and morally gray characters as well. I liked Spinning Silver, for example, especially regarding the wintery magic and the worlds. I like some magical realism too, if it’s done well.

Any suggestions? Thank you!
