Hello! I'm currently on the hunt for a memoir or autobiography about the competitive nature of schools. Namely the high-stress nature of college apps or competition amongst students in a prestigious or otherwise highly reputed school (like an Ivy League?) or anything else. If it also tackles many of the social issues surrounding them (racial and/or gender discrimination, socioeconomic divides, etc), that would be amazing!
If you know any fictional stories that capture it well/realistically, then feel free to suggest them! But I'm mostly looking for non-fiction. Thank you!
