I want a fantasy story that feels like a dream, doesn’t have much of an external plot and focuses on the “Sublime”

This question might be too specific. But I want a fantasy story that isn't much about wars or prophecies but rather dreams and grand magical realms. I want something imaginative and thought provoking without being didactic.

Or more like, I want to read about a dream.
