Hello everyone,not sure if this is the right sub for this question but as the title says, I have tried to read a number of books, genres I know I enjoy, but I never seem to actually get into. It frustrates me that I leave books about 30% or less read. I managed to read smaller books like Farenheit 451 or the Hobbit. Other than these i have tried various books differing in length and themes. I wanted to know if anyone had this feeling and if they managed to overcome it and how, thanks!
For reference I tried digital, both ereaders and phone reading, as well as physical. My genres of preference are horror, fantasy and thrillers if that helps.
