I’ve never been a big fan of mysteries, but I recently finished the girl with the dragon tattoo series and WOW. To say I was utterly engrossed with 600+ page books is an understatement. Are there other mystery books like this that have good characters, clever writing, surprise elements, etc.? I can’t handle corny cop books or outlandish scifi books, but I’ll take all suggestions.
