What are some engaging and shorter (or beautifully simple) audiobooks that would be considered literary classics or slice of life sort of books? I would prefer not heavily depressing, nor fantasy, nor horror.
Very slice of life telling the story of several immigrant families living in Pioneer America. Her descriptions of the landscape and especially the plants is just stunning.
