Hey everyone, I’m in the mood for a gripping novel that explores the theme of resisting an occupation. I’m particularly interested in stories where the characters—whether individuals or groups—are up against a powerful oppressor, using whatever means they have to fight back. I love books that delve into the moral complexities, the camaraderie, and the sacrifices that come with such resistance.
Think along the lines of "The Book Thief", but with a strong focus on the resistance aspect. I’m open to any time period or setting, preferably not the WWII, as it's been well-covered. What would you recommend?
