All the King’s Men by Robert Penn Warren is my favorite Pulitzer winner

Highly recommend The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer by Siddhartha Mukherjee. It won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction. The content is fascinating and the writing is brilliant and easy to follow.

Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel and Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo are both wonderful books and are easily my favourite of the Booker winners. There are plenty of winners I’ve not enjoyed at all (The White Tiger springs to mind…)
I find that every other Booker prize is good. So if good one year, the next one will be not for me.
