Headed on a long awaited vacation soon and plan to do lots of reading by the ocean and pool. Looking for something uplifting, relaxing/cozy, but also completely pulls me in. I’m a regular crime/thriller and need a break from that. I also like historical/general fiction, minimal romance, and nothing too sad. I’ve never read fantasy but open to a good beginner fantasy also. Any suggestions?!
