Hello everyone. I'm currently visiting the USA and have the opportunity to buy some book collections to bring back with me in order to avoid shipping fees when ordering them abroad. Unfortunately I have a limited amount of money I can spend (not to mention space on my suitcase) so I would like some advice on which of of these series I should buy. I'm looking for a fantasy series that would be for older audiences (so preferably something not considered "Young Adult") with a lot of political intrigue and action. Magic existing in the world is fine, and it can be either common or rare in the world. I would prefer to avoid first person perspective if possible. Some book series in the past that I've read and enjoyed that fit these descriptions include The First Law series, The Way in Shadows trilogy, and, of course, The Song of Ice and Fire series. These would be the series I'm considering buying (order is not indicative of anything):
-
Sovereign of the Seven Isles by David A Wells
-
The Faithful and the Fallen by John Gwynne
-
The Witcher Series by Andrzej Sapkowski
-
The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobbs
I was also considering getting The Stormlight Archive, but I decided to wait until the fifth book comes out this December.
Of those 4 options, I can get two at most. So I'd like to know your opinions on them, a brief idea of what they're like if possible, and which ones you'd recommend. I'd make my decision by tomorrow night at the latest.
Thank you for all your help.

Farseer series has many many fans. It is well written character driven fantasy. It is also dark and the main character suffers a lot.
