Looking for a book in which the main character is in a serious amount of inner mental turmoil. To be specific, I really enjoyed how descriptive and constant Yozo Ono’s pain is in Osamu Dazai’s “No Longer Human”. Looking for some books that are able to describe a person’s internal conflict, hatred, despair and depression like that.
