    and their subsequent breakdown as they're completely powerless to do anything about it and they're the only one aware of it. What would they even say, people would call them insane, none of them are even real, (they're not real themselves.) would it even matter, do they have a singular choice when all of their actions, feelings and thoughts have been written already. They still feel pain, they still feel sadness, they still feel joy.

    Maybe they decide to completely ignore it. Try as they best can to enjoy the situation they find themselves in, completely utterly alone, but better than despair. Accept it and deal with it. Or maybe they don't, maybe they search for a way out. (And they find one… well except they're still in a book, the illusion just became more believable.)

    On a separate note, I'm also looking for something with a narrator who's separate from the main character. Who is quite biased and will make it very clear where they think the story should go in how they describe certain things. (think a bit the Stanley parable.)
