Pre-baby, I was a big reader. Some of my favourites were the Goldfinch, the Great Alone, the Giver of Stars, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. Since having my baby, I only have short stints to read throughout the day and I have failed to get through some books that I know I would’ve liked to read had I been in a different mindset. However, so many lighter books are straight up bad. Any suggestions? Requirements:
– fiction
– not too long
– easy to pick up and put down
– no fantasy
– nothing traumatic happens to children
– open to romance or thrillers, but nothing too cringe (sorry I am not a Colleen Hoover gal, I tried!)
