Serbia/Yugoslavia

Hello!

I’m looking for book recommendations that take place in Serbia (or in Yugoslavia or even further in the past), fiction (historical fiction) or non fiction.

This is a bit broad because I am not sure yet what I would like to read. I hope that the book will bring me something about the history of Serbia, describe some places, or the atmosphere. Or that it would relate a historical event. I’m planning a trip there in June, and I’d like to read a book that I will be reminded of during my trip.
