Looking for an angsty, spicy, marriage in trouble with cheating, specifically where FMC (wife) cheats. No teens or forged marriage or college age. ADULTS!
I want her to feel unseen and invisible and emotionally neglected by hef husband. Then, a guy a guy comes along telling her everything she’s always wanted to hear. I want a bit of a slow burn where the guy she cheats with tries to stay away because he’s a good guy but he can’t. My absolute favorite so far in this category was The cityscape affair series by Jessica Hawkins. It had EVERYTHING I was looking for. I also really really liked What He Doesn’t Know Series by Kandi Steiner.
Bonus points if the husband and MMC fight over her!! Husband pissed at him for the cheating and MMC pissed at husband for treating her wrong.
