I have been stumped on what author to read next. I enjoy Michael Connelly, Jeffrey Deavers, John Sanford, etc. I am current on each of the series, and I’m not sure where to go next. I usually purchase books from thrift books so I can give them away when I am finished.
Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

I’m reading the first Jack Reacher right now, and despite it not even being in the same universe as my normal reading taste, I’m tearing through it. It’s entertaining.
Sam Vimes or Death from {{Discworld by Terry Pratchett}}. If you want to keep yourself busy for a while, this is the series for you.
