I’ve just finished ‘A Fine Balance’ by Rohinton Mistry. It’s about the Emergency in 1970s India and… it was harrowing, but I couldn’t put it down. Really well written.
I need something to counterbalance – just as gripping but in a more positive sense. Would love to know what people would suggest.
