My pet chinchilla recently died. My niece is three but has been talking about her a lot and seems to really miss her. Are there any books for kids that age about death? I'm not looking for anything Rainbow Bridge-y or anything that talks about Heaven – my sister has that base covered. I know of books like Good-Bye Mousie and The Tenth Good Thing About Barney but they are aimed at older kids.
