Something set on a huge, virtually empty spaceship (like a lighthugger from Revelation Space)

I'm looking for a darkish, non military sci-fi book set upon a creepy, decrepit and huge spaceship. Similar to the lighthugger in Revelation Space with janitor rats and "haunted" sections.

I know it's a long shot but I will be greatful!
