I enjoy reading book with a similar writing style to "Normal People" by Sally Rooney.
I really like the straightforward style, how thoughts are simply written down and most things are just described.
It's silly, but I never imagine anything when I read I just enjoy knowing what the words mean without picturing at all (don't worry I can imagine things haha).
So does anyone have suggestions? Maybe not a romance book, more like something with a focus on the character. It can be a classic or a modern novel, I don't mind at all.
