It’s a teen romance where the main character is a girl who lives in a small town and a crush on her friend whose initials are JFK. I think she likes books and Shakespeare and starts each chapter with a quote from a famous book or person. I think she is raising money for a local library or bookstore or bakery. She ends up spraining or breaking her leg or ankle near the end of the book and has to miss the dance but JFK comes to her house and dances with her. I think her family runs a bed and breakfast.
