does anyone have any recommendations for books with
1. unique magical systems
2. little to no romance (or just not romance centric)
3. female characters that are full characters and don’t feel one dimensional
i’ve read
– babel (unique magic system but the female characters were disappointing)
– the priory of the orange tree (fine magic system but the female characters were great. the romance was just the right amount for me)
i also looked into the will of the many for the magic system but i read the female love interest was one dimensional
