In any context; books like Dune, in which the fictional culture, politics and general imagery reflects that of the ancient world; or time travel back to the ancient world; or space exploration reveals an ancient civilisation; or Silurian hypothesis; or kind of like Hyperion where the pilgrims look for the ancient Time Tombs.
Literally anything involving both the ancient world and sci fi.
Cheers.

Michael Crichton’s **Timeline** has a group of grad students travel back to 14th century France while another group stays in the present to assist/protect them.
It’s not super ancient, but The Dream of the Iron Dragon has some 23rd century space faring people accidentally travel back in time to the Viking era.
