I hodl a monthly hang out with friends where we discuss the books we choose to read, they’re mainly interested in thrillers (silent patient / first lie wins, style of books) but are open to new genres. Does anyone have a recommendation for a fantasy style book that could be read in a month by adults with the standard amount of limited free time? Honestly the book doesn’t have to be fantasy just a book that could hold good discussions but you wouldn’t find in an English class setting. I’m getting tired of reading thrillers with predictable outcomes.
