I’m currently reading through many of the major works of the modernist literary period. Hemingway, Elliot, Faulkner, Joyce, etc. I’ve been working through a lot of the western canon as I’m familiar with it and there are clear distinctions of what falls into modernist literature. However, as part of this project I want to ensure I explore some of the other major works of the time from the non western canon.
What recommendations would you have for me to explore? Any resources you’d suggest?
