Amor Towles read Eve in Hollywood before Rules of Civility?

I don’t know if this fits here but taking a stab. I love Amor Towles. I’ve read every book except Rules of Civility. I was in an airport and noticed Table for Two. I picked it up (and the short stories are great so far!). The last half of the book seems to be a sequel of sorts to Rules of Civility. Has anyone read both? Will it ruin Rules of Civility if I read this novella first? I was always planning on reading it so could go pick that up and then finish table for two. I just don’t want it ruined!
